Jericho Brown es un poeta estadounidense beneficiario de Guggenheim Foundation, Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study de Harvard y National Endowment for the Arts. Con su primer libro, Please (2008), ganó el American Book Award, y con The New Testament</i< (2014) obtuvo el Anisfield-Wolf Book Award. Sus poemas han aparecido en The New York Times, Bennington Review, The New Yorker, The Paris Review, TIME magazine y en varios volúmenes de The Best American Poetry, entre otros.
